Xtreem Music has launched a series of old recordings by legendary Death Metal bands on 10” vinyl records. After one year and a half since they started this series, which list of announced bands to appear in this series is rather large and never-ending and gave us some very interesting releases featuring names like Vital Remains, Asphyx, Massacre, Deceased, Fleshcrawl, Necrophagia and Wombbath for instance (some of these names have been already printed some are about to in the near future so stay in touch for more info). The first one to appear in this 10” series was Sinister’s first demo “Perpetual Damnation”. Now the label reissues the Sinister’s demo in a CD-Digipack with 8-pannel booklet, which will be exactly the same insert that’s on vinyl, with lyrics, but folded on an 8-pages poster. The Digipack will also be a replica of the vinyl jacket. All four tracks have been re-recorded for the “Cross the Styx”-album not long after the initial release of this demo tape. Musically speaking this unripe Sinister version balance perfectly between teenage aggression and pure old school death metal filtering excellent the new back then wave of Suffocation-inspired brutal metal, and the technical elements in the veins of Pestilence and Atheist.Of course the demo-recordings sound really raw, but full of energy. The murky sound has a significant underground charm that only whoever lived the tape trading madness era can smell the sweat and mud and in the air…

Track list:

1. Putrefying Remains
2. Spiritual Immolation
3. Compulsory Resignation
4. Perpetual Damnation
