I’m not gonna lie to you, I’m a big fan of Ed Mundell and I consider him one of the best rock guitar heroes. His absence from Monster Magnet was colossal, but now fortunately he is back again according to the official Facebook Monster Magnet profile. His absence from The Atomic Bitchwax was also colossal, but in Gravitron it is very smartly maneuvered with short 3-minuite tracks that balance between Karma to Burn, Queens of the Stone Age, Hermano and “Liquor Queen” (from the II album) style. Gravitron is a fast, strong, tight and straight-forward rock album. Don’t expect to hear a new Black Trans-Am (from my beloved EP Spit Blood), but songs like Fuck Face, War Claw or Sexecutioner will do the job and get you right there….where? To the place where Gravitron forces reach their maximum value, to the center of rock’n’roll.

Are you ready to electrify some redheads?
