The American heavy metal singer Tim Aymar (Pharaoh, Chuck Schuldiner‘s Control Denied) passed away on the 14th of February.
Pharaoh posted on social media: Tim has meant so much to so many people, whose hearts are suddenly flooded with sadness but also memories of his life and music.
We look forward to sharing some of our own memories when the right time has come. Until then, we are joined in sorrow and gratitude with all of Tim’s family, friends, fans, and fellow musicians.

Cruz Del Sur Label also said:
We are crushed by grief.
Pharaoh’s “After the Fire” was the first album to ever come out on Cruz Del Sur Music in 2003 and Tim’s unbelievable vocals was one of the main reason we fell in love with this band.
Tim had a unique voice, perfect for Metal. We have lost a great musician, a friend. Drive on, guided by the night sky.
Rest in peace Tim.
