“By the power of Cronos and invocation of the destructive riff fury of early Metallica, Bulldozer, and Motörhead, WRAITH are back with their fierce brand of NO BULLSHIT THRASH METAL! One listen to songs like ‘Dominator’ and ‘Born to Die’ will immediately reinforce their claim and have you moshing like it’s 1984!” Ambitious if not brave words by the press release, but we are on 2021, not 1984 and Bandcamp or YouTube streaming can say much much more the desk clerk in the record label wrote in order to promote the album.

Wraith are no bullshit indeed! As they don’t hide their influences Motörhead and early Metallica are definitely their favorites, same for Italians Bulldozer, so the moto “Ride Hard Die Fast” can be found in “Undo the Chains” songs several times. While the guitars are heavy and furious and the full-throated vocals by Matt Sokol give extra ferocity to their sound, someone would guess that the final result is raw and aggressive (that’s true) but can’t stand in terms of catchiness. So wrong! Well the album has a dozen of dynamites in its track list that just wait from you to push play in order to explode. This is not pure rock ‘n roll, only in attitude, as the blackened speed elements are present too, making the album even more dangerous for the oblivious average guy that can’t suspect the unholy, savage Thrash attack that Wraith deliver in their 3rd album “Undo the Chains”. A great suggestion for fans of old school Thrash, fans of Hellripper and Bastardizer (with whom the band released a worth exploring split last year) and Venom/ Motörhead.

It I already out via Redefining Darkness Records and Motorpunk Records on September 24th, 2021.
